asdfjkl; -home row keys not working!!! coincidence they all broke together or is it something else?

randomly, my home keys deactivated all at the same time, is it simply a case of broken keys or is it a prob with the software or some combination of keys ive pressed? its a laptop too :(

Sounds like a bad keyboard. Sounds also like spillage into the keyboard.

It may also be a virus. I have seen weird things like that too.

If you have a usb keyboard, plug it into the laptop and see if it works properly. If it does, your laptop keyboard is shot. If not, you have a software/virus/spyware issue.
