OK Lets get serious...I will try to answer your questions but it is a general answer...Without knowing specifics.

First...Your stomach pain depends on which part of the stomach hurts. The stomach or abdomen is divided into 4 quadrants. the right upper quadrant, left upper quadrant, right lower quadrant and left lower quadrant. It starts at the ribs and ends at the pubic bone.

Second...what kind of pain is it...Sharp, burning, radiating, or dull?
sharp pain is usually due to gas, burning pain is usually due to acid. Radiating pain is pain that moves and dull pain is usually due to fluid.

Third...When does the pain occur? Does the pain occur after eating or before eating...Does it occur standing up or sitting down?

Putting all of these questions together...If you have a sharp pain that occurs after eating a fatty meal and the pain occurs in the right upper quadrant then it may be your gall bladder.

If you have a burning pain that occurs before meals and is relieved by eating, then it can be a duodenal ulcer.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING to consider is that having chronic stomach pain is not normal. Everyone gets occasional gas, but not everyday..

I usually have my patients get some blood tests, and ultrasound and CT scans. These tests can tell you if there is an obstruction or blockage. Other tests are endocopy and colonoscopy which are more invasive but they are able to diagnose and treat at the same time.

YOU MUST SEE A DOCTOR ASAP...he/she can find out what the cause of the gas/indigestion is so that you can have permanent relief

Activia yogurt. It is a FABULOUS product. I was leery on the whole thing since yogurt used to just wreck my stomach, but I ate this for 14 days and really did see a HUGE difference. I was able to drink a glass of regular milk for the first time in years and years. I recommend this product to everyone. :)

I know the answer, Read Fit For Life by Harvey Diamond.
Trust me, he is a big believer in natural heigeine and this way of eating he suggests will help the healing for a better digestive track and life.

If you follow these rules of his book it will help you.

Morning (Fruits in the morning till noon, nothing else, they s/b eaten alone)

Combine foods correctly:

carbs with other carbs & no protein
protein with veggies and a salad (no carbs with any proteins)
no dairy foods (if you must, eat by itself)
raw (only raw) seeds and nuts (roasted makes the oils in the nuts rancid)
olive oil
less meat (have chicken or fish (salmon is excellent) and red meats only on occassion

stay away from acidic foods and drinks esp, especially anything that is pasterized (juices & milks, caffeine, processed foods, sauces).

take a plant digestive enzyme only when you eat cooked foods.

Stop eating (if you can) around 8 for the food to digest and be able to eliminate foods for the next day.

Trust me, this will help your digestive system heal and work better without drugs.
