Why am I so much difficultly getting people through the door, I live in a great area with a lovely looking flat inside and out and my house is fixed price and no one is visiting.

Any ideas?

The housing market is down right now. Hopefully when spring arrives and tax refunds come in, people will start house hunting. If it is possible for you to wait it out, then just put off your open houses until then. Otherwise, you might have to settle for whatever offer you get-if you get one.
Good luck.

This is not the best time of year to sell. Any estate agent who is reputable should have mentioned that. In addition, how has the weather been? Look closely at marketing. My estate agent did a terrible job a few years ago - basically lied to me. When I moved from the UK to the USA I auctioned it and got a very fair price with minimal hassles.

As you called it a flat, I assume you are in the UK.
