IT IS NOT CORRECT. IT WAS NOTHING BUT TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE. SADDAM WAS EXECUTED BY NOT HIS PEOPLE BUT BY THE PUPPET GOVERNMENT OF THE IMPERIALIST USA, WHICH INVADED IRAQ UNDER THE PRETEXT THAT IRAQ HAD WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION AND SADDAM HAD LINKS WITH AL QAEDA, BUT IT COULD FIND OUT THE PROOF. INSTEAD OF WITHDRAWING ITS FORCES FROM IRAQ, THE US MADE IRAQ A HOT BED FOR TERRORISTS AND ESCALATED SECTARIAN VIOLENCE BETWEEN SHIAS AND SUNNIS DUE TO WHICH MORE THAN 6,00,000 INNOCENT IRAQIS AND MORE THAN 3,000 AMERICAN SOLDIERS DIED.

I feel punishment given to saddam is not correct . There are many Ways to give him punishment. Afterall Saddam was the Ex president of Iraq and friend of India. It was very bad the punishment was shown on T.V. and Internet also.

Yes I think so, but it would have been far better if the Iraqi's had solely brought him to justice and not with the help of America, this man was a criminal and a butcher, who had no regard for any of his people or his faith for that matter, he acted like a gangster on a large scale, if he had been put in jail, his presence would still have been felt by many, he is now gone and good riddance, let this be a lesson to others like him.

Quite a few people are asking this same question, but I think it stems from the way it was all carried out, the shambolic trial and the graphic footage of his execution shocked most people and this caused a natural reaction for people to question its validity, but if you concentrate on the despicable details of this mans history then I think you can honestly say it was justified.

well i know that some of you will think that i am mad but the truth is that the amrecan govt. has done a bad thing it is not acceptable at all after all Saddam Hussain was a king and the american govt. has no right to interkace in the internal affairs of the country. It is the people of the country that has been exploited by him that wht to do. American govt. proved that they can do anything which is not acceptable. I am a Hindu not muslim but still i am against it.

Yes, he was a mass murderer but not the only one. There are people like that in our government who are responsible for 3000 BRAVE AMERICAN troops and over half of million Iraqies.

i guess it was a bit quick, i mean America didn't give the orders yet when shiaa decided it's the right time, and he still got so many things to be asked about, many crimes and details people should have had some explanations about, i guess they should have waited more time;

well.. i cant say its correct because i mean even if we had different opinions, the government of america wouldn't listen to us. To have done so many murders, distructions around the globe, i think its more harsh, because he could've just gotten lifelong prison or something<
