We store it in the original container when not in use. Occasionally add a small amount of water to the container, or even kneed it through the play dough to prevent it from drying out.

No-Cook Clay Dough 3 cups flour 3 cups salt 3 tablespoons alum Combine ingredients and slowly add water, a little at a time. Mix well with spoon. As mixture thickens, continue mixing with your hands until it has the feel of clay. If it feels too dry, add more water. If it is too sticky, add equal parts of flour and salt. Play Dough 2 cups flour 1 cup salt 1 cup water 1 tablespoon cooking oil Instructions: Mix the flour, salt, and water in a bowl. Add a small amount of oil (this keeps the dough from hardening). Knead the play dough a little, then let the kids take a turn. Store in an airtight container.

Keep it sealed in the container and for extra insurance put the container in a zip lock bag. If the play doh start drying up add some water(just a little bit, like a teaspoon) that should freshen it up.

keep it in the container, and use an eye dropper filled with water, and plop about one to 3 drops. Then, push em up, to get the water everywhere. DO NOT use too much, or too little. No more than 4 drops.
