A wool/ lyricra sheet that goes all the way up the neck and down to the hidquarters. It's used to help a hot horse cool down slowly on a cold day. If you don't use one, your horses muscles get cold too fast and the could 'tie up" or become stiff.

A cooler is a blanket which goes on your horse when it's sweaty and you don't want it to get a chill. Most coolers have to be supervized when you use them because if they role there is no leg strapps to hold the blanket to the the horse

It is a cover or type blanket ( sort of a fleece material) that prevents a horse from getting chilled after a long workout that leaves him sweaty. It covers the whole horse from neck to rear.
