I am going on a trip and looks like I will get my period during the trip. I know I could get on the pill but I am in my 40s now and I don't want to go on the pill again. The trip is next month. Can I do anything to delay my period for one month without side affects?

Hi! The only surefire method I know of is to take the pill for just a month and then get off it after your trip.

I have had one strange thing happen before to me... I went to a massage therapist who has also studied acupressure. She used certain stroke around my ankles... an area they can´t touch on pregnant women because it stimulates the uterus. My period started a week or two early... just two days after the therapy session. Might have been a coincidence... but who knows, it might at least help you start your period before the trip.
