I hate to argue with other answerers without being 100% that my answer is better, but doesn't "gon" refer to angles and "hedron" refer to faces, so a 3D shape is a heptadecahedron, not a heptadecagon? Hope someone clears this up with certainty.

A 17 sided 2D shape is a heptakaidecagon.
But a 17 sided 3D shape is a completely different matter, I think may be you mean 17 faces.
I don't think that has a name.

First of all I think you mean a 17 'Faced' 3D shape, because a 17 sided figure whether in 2D or 3D has the same name- Heptadecagon.
