People get angry because we feel frustrated,or hurt, or lied to, or cheated, or tired, or like our day just can't go right. We get angry for many different reasons, what I get angry the most about is driving, and not mine-other peoples!!! People love to pull right on out in front of you, not stop completely at stop signs, not pull over for emergency vehicles, go 20 mile an hour under the speed limit, drive drunk, and drive when they can't even see over the wheel!!! People don't even think about the fact that they are driving a very heavy piece of equipment, and it only takes 2 seconds to take a life because they are too busy eating, talking on a cell phone, turning radio stations, conversating with the other people in the car, the list goes on and on. I just can't understand why driving makes me angry.

Angery? I know why people get angry. Because they have no patience and no respect for others. They are total violent narcissists.

They have a basic personal need that has not been met, or worse, taken away. Someone cuts you off on the freeway, your need for a safe drive has been threatened. Your spouse turns over and goes to sleep, your need for intimacy has been neglected.
Since you are ultimately in control of your own life, you can only allow people to cause anger, not become an unwilling victim of it.

This is a simple one. People get angry because what they expected was going to happen...didn't end up happening. Anger is all about expectations not being met.
So, if you expect someone to call you and they didn't, odds are you will at least be slightly irritated, if not angry. If you expect your friends to act a certain way and they don't, then you might get angry.
How can we control our anger? By controlling our expectations (having a few important ones only) and being honest with those around you about what you expect of them (lots of communication).

Because other people do not know how to spell?
Seriously, because it's a natural human emotion. Not a pretty one, but a natural one. And, of course, some people express their anger better than others. It's not OK to take it out on others, whether it's your loved ones or the guy who cut you off on the freeway.

Frustration, either at ones-self or at others is what causes anger.I have anger because of my own mistakes in life, others have anger because of someone else's mistakes towards them.Either way,a good brisk walk or jog, followed by a hot bath or shower REALLY helps,as does any other absorbing hobby/activity.Oh,and laughter really is the best medicine!

People get angry because they are not getting what they think they should get. Angry is one of our many expressions and there is nothing wrong with it. However, one must learn how to manager our anger so that we do not do things which we may regret in our anger. To be able to manage one's anger requires a lot of discipline and courage.

last year i think i may have gotten angry 4 times ,with real justifications ,yet ,i was not cool for letting a situation take over .it is very rare that i get angry ,first of all ; i walk off immediately as not to show my anger to anyone ........and mostly ? i do not comment at all ..........i wait until the worst time is passed ......

It's a defense mechanism to protect our beliefs with the main one of being respected. When one or more of our beliefs is under attack or appears to be under attack, we go from irritated to anger. This defense mechanism can be faulty though. Sociopaths and thin-skinned people have anger problems because of their shallow belief structure.
