i really enjoyed this book!
if i'm going to be really critical, the writing itself wasn't that sophisticated, but thats its only fault (unless you count the fact that the enitre thing is blasphemy, but I didn't really mind)
if you're really religious, especially Roman Catholic, i can see why you might disagree with it. but if you read it with an open mind and ignore the digs at the Catholic church, it would still make a great read.
its a murder mystery thriller, but its more complicated than that, because they have to get to the killer before he murders the next victim. its a gripping read because of the speed of the plot and i liked the fact it was made to seem factual. however you do have to remember that alot of what is presented as fact is completely made up.
in my opinion, its a better book than The Da Vinci Code.

i felt that Angels and Demons was way better than Da Vinci Code.
the action was better and the plot more focus.
I read this book after i had read the da vinci code. I was suprised that angels and demons was so much better and yet it was the da vinci code that caused the stir and became the best seller.
My thought were that da vince code was more commerical because of the controversial ending.
Angels and demons was more fact based. the grave area under St. Peter, was really discovered when they were going to put in a street. all the places with clue, in rome are there and when you think about the clue the are true and correct.
i would recommond both books but i personilly like angels and demons better

It's a very very good book. I really like it because of the history and science, it is very smart.
The beginning is a bit out there, but once the scene changes to the vatican, the real action begins. The end starts to get confusing, so make sure you pay attention closely.
Enjoy!

Yes, I read it right after it came out. It was a good thriller and I enjoyed the book, but I didn't think it was as original or as captivating as some of his other books.

Years ago. It is a pretty good book but like The DaVinci Code we must remember that it is a work of fiction.

Fantastic read! You'll have to pull an all-nighter to experience maximum suspense and only to be read when you're alone in your bedroom and everyone else is asleep in order to really enjoy it. It's one of the best thrillers I've ever read, in my opionion.

I liked it very much. It's popular culture and the language isn't too polished, but it reads like a thriller... it will keep you gripped.
