I know that he is Canadian. But, why don't more Germans come to play here? They have been a big footballing nation over the years

I certainly hope Owen Hargreaves does come to Manchester United really I do, BUT, would it not be better to see how well he gets over his broken leg, AS, we have already got Alan Smith Battling his way back, I just would not like Owen put under any pressure about how long its going to take him to get back to playing again. And its not the PRICE TAG he has got, that's bothering me, as I think he is WORTH it, when he is fit and playing Football.

It's Ferguson who really wants him to join Man Utd but from the last news I heard that Bayern Muenchen will report Man Utd to UEFA if they didn't stop their effort to talk with Hargreaves without Bayern permission. Ever since he joined Bayern he showed good performance including outplayed Figo when Bayern beat Madrid in 2001 CL. I would rather have Hargreaves played with Bayern or any other clubs than Man Utd though hehe.
Not all German players could adapt English football, only few and they're awesome. The likes of Juergen Klinsmann, Markus Babbel (too bad for his illness) and the Kaizer Didi Hamann.

Owen Hargreaves has already played football for the England international team - not very well, I might add, Beckham is FAR better. Didn't you see the World Cup? Hargreaves was in every match, either in the starting line-up, or as a sub.

i imagine they're 2 diverse kinds of protection. Mascherano is extra of a troublesome guy. He makes a good number of significant tackles and all of us understand he's not afraid to get down and dirty slightly of. Hargreaves on the different hand is extra like the link between midfield and protection. He does a good number of passing and springs down the wing yet at the same time fights for possession.

munich reportedly said they would start listening to offers of 30mil euros. I think he will be sold for less than that.
It is true very few germans come to england i can only think of Ballack, Hamann and Lehmann off the top of my head( on and Huth how could i forget about him), but in the future i think you will see klose cross the channel and many years from now maybe some of the younger national stars like lahm, schweinsteiger and podolski.

Hargreaves has only played one very good game for England and that was the one against Potugal too bad his effort went to waste.

it looks likely that Bayern Munich is finally willing to sell Owen Hargreaves to Manchester United & the ENGLAND midfielder is desperate to leave the club.
