It's perfectly natural especially if your doctor is not concerned.
Tell your mother, there is nothing wrong with it and you will need advice from her and to buy pads. Remember, she went through teh same thing you did!

Sweetie,it is a tad early, but it isnt anything to worry about.Females get their periods at different times, some dont get it til late in their teen years and some get it during that pre-teen stage. It isnt something to go to the doctor over, unless you have another problem you are concerned about.Having said that, you should speak to your mother.Your mother has been exactly where you are,and she can answer any questions you may have.Dont be embarassed as she is a female too. So,trust she understands. You will have alot of questions concerning your body, and she can answer them be cause she has experienced what you are going through now.It isnt something that is wrong and shouldnt be embarassing,it simply means your growing up.Dont allow this to have you stressed, just be prepared because at your age,it will more than likely be irregular which means it could come on at random times,or you could skip some in between.Just do not get worried over it,you are just fine and healthy.Good luck hun,and Welcome to womanhood!

No it's not too early. The average age is 11-12 so you are just what is called "an early bloomer". My concern is, why doesn't your mother know? You need to tell her. She will be such a great help as you get older when you have questions about your body. There is nothing to be embarrassed about so just go and talk to her.

It's not too early, most start at 11. Do tell your Mom though, she'll be able to advice you with what protection to use etc. You do't need to see a doctor unless your having a real bad time with it, very bad tummy ache and very excessive bleeding.

It is a little early but nothing to worry about. Just tell your mum. It is natural and you don't need to see a doctor about it.

Now a days, not really. It seems like more girls are getting it at about your age. Buut I think you should tell your mom sometime soon. She probably wants to know.
