The power supply (P.S.)is from a DELL computer. The model number is HP-150SS, REV:14. There are twenty pin connector for the motherboard. A part fromt the power supply terminals (red, yellow and black cables) there are five other cables. A grey which is soldered to SS on the P.S., purple to a 5V pin, one to a pin that says PG, one to a pin that says 12 V and the other I can't see properly.

There was a way... saying to hook a certain resistor value between 2 pins on the connector..but this doesnt work very well, as I have blown up 2 of them...Your best bet is to buy a PS tester, theyrre around $15.00-27.00, depending on what you buy. I own a repair shop, and this last way will safely test them, I own 2 different ones now, with no difficulties... They are on ebay, and google.
