I know Phish is a band (or was, anyway) but what does phish mean in terms of computers and such? Thanks

With email phishing you will get a email that looks official normally claiming to be a bank or something of importance that provides a link that will display the real link but when you actually click it, it will take you to a fake website that looks almost identical to the real thing (Although if you look in the address bar the address will be something different no the official site) they often try and steal things such as passwords or bank details by tricking you into thinking it is official and safe.

Using mock or fake websites that look like the real things, as well as emails to try and steal personal details.

Its a filter program that scans for tracking, ad-ware and other identify stealing websites and program. Just another security feature to protect you from predators.
