We sing because music is a very important part of (most) people's lives. Everywhere you go you will hear music, with memorable lyrics. When we hear a song we just want to sing aloud and it gives us a happy feeling. Its hard to feel upset when you sing happy music, but I suppose it could have the reverse effect and make you feel sad if you sing sad music.

Singing can be carried out informally, like when one is singing in the shower, or it can be formal, when done professionally either recording in the studio. However, anyone who can speak is able to sing and they can do so merely to express their emotions, be they sad or happy.

Because when you are in a bad mood, and you hear human voice.. it makes you feel better... So.. anytime you are sad.. just sing something... it"s not important that it sounds false :)

Bcos we can, bcos we feel like singning sometimes, bcos we love music and it's easier to sing than learn to play an instrument :P
