Crime scene: In a condo unit, a dead man with a gun in one of his hands and a recorder on the other. A gunshot through his head. No sign of violence. The detective in charge took the recorder and played it " I am tired of my life.. I wanna die!" *gunshot* The detective askd "Is this his voice?" The deadman's roommate replied "yes" The detective said " we must find the murderer"

How did the detectvie know it was murder not suicide?

For people that think that it was something to do with the recorder, I once had a memo recorder that when it reached the end of the tape it automatically rewound. Some of the tapes were only five minutes long. If this was the type of recorder, thenyou would expect that it would be at the beginning.

For those that say that the recorder would have fallen; sometimes when the brain stops, the hands actually form a fist. This would mean that the recorder did not fall.

With these two possibilities gone, how would the dective know this was murder?

I'm not sure.

Because there would be further recording on the tape recorder after the gunshot?

The tape recorder and gun would have fallen out of his hands most likely.

Because the roommate's voice was the one on the recorder.

The tape would have kept on playing if it was suicide, but if it ended then it was a staged suicide.
