I'm presently falling apart due to partying too much when I was younger. I can't drink anymore and suffer from stomach and liver damage and cartlidge damage in my right wrist. I am also covered in tattoos. When I look back at my life I can't think of anything that I would have changed though as I may have to live with some discomfort from now on but I have really enjoyed my life so far. Is there anything you regret and why?

I regret not partying, drinking, and covering myself in tatoos.
Life is a little boring. At least you are enjoying yours.

On the serious side I regret not trying harder in school with my exams and also not being there when my nan and brother passed away to hold them and say goodbye :( but like most things in life if you live too long thinking about what you regret doing in life you then regret the things you have not yet done so live life to the full and have a happy one :)

There was a phrase somewhere that said:
"When you look back on your life, it's not the moments you made an as-s of yourself, the ridicule or the failures that you regret, but the lost opportunities, the times in which you didn't even try."

I think it's very, very true. I missed some opportunities myself, and I'm not planning on doing it anymore, even if that means looking like a dumbass or falling many times. To try and fail is always better than not trying at all.

I regret not saving money sooner for my retirement. I'll retire financially okay, but it would have been better if I had started in my 20s.

I regret getting married both times deeply. Unimaginably deeply.

I regret moving to the city. The crime up here is awful. When I can, I am moving back to the country and letting these gang bangers kill each other without waking me up at 2:AM with gunfire.

I don't see any point in having regrets. I've made some stupid decisions in the past but you live and you learn; at least I won't ever do it again! You can't change what you've done in life therefore there's no point dwelling on it, you just have to enjoy what you have!

Well done you for being brave enough to admit it, hats off to you.

We can't go back and change things but we can learn from the experiences life throws at us, me included!

I don't regret things I learn from them, take out what you want from it and move forward one day at a time - make progress slowly at a pace you can adjust to and turn a blind eye to critisism.
