i need to know what plant rental companies do with their plants when they are no longer looking "their best" and they remove them from office buildings, malls, etc. I'll be working on a project this summer and need to find 5-10 trees like this. Sort of the ficus type of tree. I live in the Chicago area.
Does anyone actually know if there is a place or person that would let me have (or purchase for a small amount) these "no longer showroom" quality plants?

Please help. Thank you.

thanks

Go around to some nurseries and see if they have anything from fall. Normally they get rid of most plants going into winter (where it snows).

In Florida they sell down for Christmas and are already full again, of course our weather thinks it is spring.

Check with neighbors or friends. What are you going to do if you can use live or real??
