I'm not shy, if it wasnt for the law, I'd be naked all the time. I came in the world naked, I'd like to go out that way too.

Adam and Eve as many people have said. However, being naked is more than sin.
As humans, we have no fur to protect ourselves. Nakedness is not for humans after all. Perhaps in the old days while Eve and Adam were alive, the climate was much warmer for humans, but since weather changes, and our bodies got weaker due to God's wrath, or sin from Adam and Eve. Humans should not be naked all the time (except of course when they need to clean themselves)

Many of us aren't the least bit shy about being naked with others. It's really no big deal and at times is the best way to be. I love the nude beach and swimming naked in my friends' pools, and don't think twice about being shy. It's fun, it feels great, I look good naked...so why worry about false modesty?

The first people (Adam and Eve) were not ashamed to be naked. Then they ate of the tree of the knowledge of (both) good and evil. (Before that, they only had the knowledge of good........) When they realized they had blown it, they became ashamed.
(By the way, nowhere does it say that the fruit was an apple! Myth exploded!)

They did not become shy, you either are or not. Too many worry about the little flaws and fat, the silly things that have no bearing. Nakedness is a god given beauty. Some should be covered though. LOL

When the time a person becomes sexually mature.
Young children doesn't felt it so.
it evolved into consciousness, brain evolved to subconsciouly sensed it's ready to use or function .but the concious brain doesn't understand the purpose or reason being sensed sexually mature which then evolved in fear.
Adult people just enjoyed having sex and sometimes result of an offspring.
fear is form of lack or incomplete informations

When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit of knowledge, and fashioned clothes out of fig leaves, because they were embarrassed for God to see them naked.

I think maybe the weather palyed a factor more than shyness :)
in the summer though,. we should all be allowed to be butt naked!

its not that they are too shy to be naked, its that they like how they look with different clothes on and stuff. not shyness, vanity.
