I just replaced a hose and valve and it still smells like gas. any suggetions?? Stove in 14 yrs old

Take a spray bottle with water and dish soap in it and spray the connections to find the leak

The burner won't WEAR out but it might corrode and let gas leak but you'd only smell gas when you light the burner.

I would assume that most leaks occur in the joints and connectors. After that, try the hose or other old parts.

maybe its time to get new stove before ur house blows up, and yes stoves do wearout when they rust and stuff. Please get a new stove...I dont want to see u on da news :(...or atleast replace the gaskets. p.s electric stoves r better
