That our nation as well as our government needs to do less infighting between Democrats and Republicans and Liberals and Conservatives.

They DO agree more than might be expected. Methodology is what they disagree upon. The labels are usually not as easy to pin down as people think either.

If you spent casual time w me....you would no doubt conclude I am a serious liberal, which I am regarding most social issues.....

However if we began discussing world politics, or fiscal policy, particularly my views on welfare, unemployment benefits, or most other government hand outs you would find me far more conservative than most.

Therein lies much of the problem....we spend far too much time defining problems when we need to just dig in & start resolving the problems....the remedy can be modified as the issue is addressed.

to disagree for the most part, I believe most true liberals and true conservatives would agree on world peace. too much bashing because a few extremist on here make each other look bad.

Our elected officials get along better than people on here - that is for sure. At the end of the day I bet some even have dinner together or a drink. Look at Carver and his wife - wow, political opposites.

Liberals and conservatives agree on many, many things. For example, they agree on prostitution.

Liberals are for sexual freedom, hence they are for prostitution.

Conservatives are for the free market, hence they are for prostitution.

If they agree on then there will be no liberalism and conservatism. Its a job security as well. Same way pepsi and coke cant be together.

When they actually look at facts, they agree most of the time on what the problem is. What they do not agree on is what to do about it!
