Canada has got a more European soul than the USA.
I cant imagine Canada spreading junk food chain shops all over the world like Starbucks and MC Donald's. And they don't have social inequality like in the USA plus they never had nothing like the KKK and slavery

You're hilarious. Your question states: "Why do Canadians feel they are morally superior to Americans", yet you advise us to "some respect for the greatest country on earth". A little bit of arrogance on your part huh? Canadians don't think they are morally superior...most of us are just glad we're not American. The US, as they say, is a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.
Liferyder: we go to get a job in the States as they are a little more plentiful, but we bring the money home back to Canada becuase of OUR better standard of living. If the standard of living was better in the US, wouldn't that lead one to conclude that they Canadians would not only work in the US, but they'd move there as well???

I think we should not fight about this and also remember that we were there for America when the 911 attacks took place in New York. Think about the pleasant things about Canadians. We have problems just like you in America have only different ones.
We have issues that we struggle with here just as you may have in your country so no one's perfect. I don't think any one is superior except God alone. I have met some wonderful American people along the way.
Saying that we are better then you or visa versa only brings on war not peace. Both our countries have been blessed with the freedoms we now have. Let's count our blessings.

Canada feels morally superior to America because it is morally superior, just like virtually every other country on earth. I appreciate that financially and in terms of political and social power and influence, America is superior, but your question was aboutt MORAL superiority, therefore they have it in spades.

I think every country feels that they are the best. Don't take it to heart. We (Americans) probably come off that way to other countries, too. Infact I know we do.

They can think what they'd like, BUT at the end of the they still envy the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. Their 'socialist' nation is and has been depend on us for years. The vast majority of their population lives within 50 miles of the border. They cross our border daily to work here. WHY? Because we have a higher standard of living.
I'm not going to say 'I hate Canadians', it's more like pity. The truth be known, if we Americas don't that control of our government, we will end up just like them.

Their healthcare system has problems. When a person has to wait to have something done, and are more likely to die, before the operation. Canadians aren't all bad, but don't forget some of them are french, so that says it all.
