Even many of the Democrats are moving away from supporting her, as they have found she is an equal opportunity pain-in-the-rear.
Ms. Sheehan only had one son who courageously volunteered to defend his country, and even re-upped while in theater. In fact, he had volunteered to go on the mission that caused his death. Unfortunately, his mother has been dishonoring him over and over ever since. She said that she should have taken him to Canada... as if he wasn't an adult who made his own decisions.
She is the poster girl for the Left - someone who thinks the government should wrap us all in a protective cocoon, and for whom personal responsibility is non-existent.

You're right, who knows who's there -- but we'll never know, because Bush has never charged the majority detained there -- it's an immoral abomination and completely against ALL AMERICAN VALUES.
We have family CURRENTLY serving in Iraq who support Cindy 100%. God bless Cindy! We need a few more mothers like her in America.

She had the right to express herself. People imprisoned there have rigid views. I agree with her that this jail should be closed as it is giving bad name to USA. Prisoners should be handed to their respective Governments. Her son was killed in Iraq. Government must be having some clue. Iraq has its own jails.

I don't support her position, but you know the woman has guts. She stands up for what she believes and doesn't let anyone hold her back. There are not many people like her around anymore. It's to bad she lets her emotions get the better of her.
