bf/gf...what does it actually mean? i know that it is boy/girl friend. does it mean that our lovers r called as bf/gf or our friends of male and female???

Well.. yess it means boyfriend and girfriend.. but most people would use it to describe a more personal relationship they are in.. otherwise if they are only friends girls call the boys their guyfriends, but dont know what guys call the girls lol

ya you are right. bf/gf meas a girl/boy friend. our lovers are called so. say for example you are a girl and you love someone, then that boy will be called your bf in case he also loves you.

I dont really approve of boy and girl friends.I think that is useless and childish teens do it only due to their mental and hormonal changes at this age.But LOVE is completely different you can only feel it when you are mature enough and can understand its meaning.

well it depends on the time your useing it and what you and your friend is talking about at the time, some ppl use it for just male & Female friends, Others ues it in the boyfriend & Girlfriend way
