Insert a pin into the tiny hole by the cdrom slot, this should open the tray

the optical drive were you put your cd roms has become disabled for some reason,to eject your disc go to my computer and right click the icon of the problem drive and then click "eject",this will eject your disc
next right click the "my computer" icon from the desktop and then click properties, this will take you to system properties, then click hardware and then device manager, this will take you to a large window with all your devices in it,find cd-roms and expand the entry for it by clicking the + next to it,then right click the problem cd rom and click uninstall
dont worry,by clicking uninstall you will clear the p.c of the cd rom ,so when you restart the p.c windows will recognize it as a new device and install the drive as if it was new, thus installing all the drivers.files ect
so once you have uninstaled the cd rom ,please restart the computer
certain cd/dvd-roms sometimes require what users call "firmware" which basically aids in better running of the drive,on some dvd-rw,s there is a label with "live update" which updates the dvd-rw automatically
if you want me to look for the firmware for your cd/dvd rom let me know the make and model(you will find this in device manager),and then i can search for it,and once i find it i can send it to you as a e-mail attachment and also send instructions of how to install the firmware
i hope this helps
good luck

the thing you are complaining about is the tray of your c-drive, perhaps you will have too look for a tiny hole near the tiny light just below the tray. and for a permanent remedy you will have to get you drive serviced from the company's service centre of which your drive is a make of.. only costs around 100 bucks. And maybe free of cost if your drive is under warranty

Look closely at it. There should be a tiny hole or override that allows you to manually open the drive.
