There can be absolutely no doubt that something is wrong with having sex with one's students or microwaving a child, or murder someone (I think statistics will tell you though, that about 9 out of 10 who murder their own children are men). But even though these things are completely horrible, sometimes I do doubt whether such tragedies really occur more often than before, if one takes into account that there are many more people today.
Another factor, and I think a major one, in our perception that the world has become a worse place, is the reporting from the media of every such event, we simply hear about it more than we would have before. Sadly enough bad news sell better than good news.
I do think you're right about the general "tone" among people having become harsher though. There seems to be less respect for others and more insistence on one's own rights rather than the rights of the common good. But can we do much more about it than trying to be courteous, respectful and decent people ourselves...and asking that from others too?

I think it's the pendulum swinging in the other direction from centuries of being treated as property, 2nd class citizens, objects to do the housework, raise the babies, and sit down quietly while the man takes center stage in the world.
Keep in mind, not all women in all cultures act this way. But in cultures where women have the freedom of expression, you see manifestations of rebellion from oppression that didn't end all that long ago.
Also, you see in society in general people having less concern for others. People in general are more self-center, violent, and expecting something for nothing. Being a mother is a very difficult and self-sacrificing job (Dad's too, but that's not the point or the subject of the question). The more spoiled-get-something-for-nothing children we raise, the more they will not take the duties of parenthood seriously and, when it seems too much, the more you will see babies discarded. It's heartbreaking.

what's the matter with men these days
i was just watching the news to hear of yet ANOTHER male teacher having sex with one of his students. a few months back, i heard of a man luring his underage female student to a parking lot for sex. then there was that Scott Peterson who killed hs wife and unborn son and of course there's the other wife killers and countless other men who kill their wives and children to be with another women or kidnap little girls from their beds while they sleep. when i block the sites in disgust to see the the men advertising they had sex with underage girls, and the other stes with men old enough to be grandfather exploiting young girls with money. when i go to the mall and hold the door for a man, he stares at my breasts or asked for my number instead of a thank you and the young men in the mall dress like rappers or gottis, have half their boxers showing, tons of tattoos, bad attitudes, and filthy mouths. isn't this a sign that something in our society has gone horribly wrong? now i realize that there are decent men out there. but unfortunately they seem few and far between. and yes i am married. so don't try that "can't get laid huh? " excuse. what went wrong with men?

I think you'll find that women (some)in the 21st century are not the passive sweet creatures they were once portrayed, they are taking over from the men in more ways than you think.
They too pick men up in bars, have a wild time and send them packing, apparently can't be doing with them wanting to stay the night, lol.Girl power today is a big thing and if you want to say something about it you'll get something on the lines of 'WHATEVER',me on the other hand am old school and find it all a bit facinating.

Men. Unfortunately men have had it all, and women want it too. Men want sex, so they persue scantily clad women for sex. Unfortunately, sexy women have a power over men and so the wearing of sexy clothing is second nature now.
Men don't pursue women - especially during those vital teenage years - because they want to get to know them better. They want to have sex. To impress their mates, to make them feel good. My daughter has told me of quite a few of her 14 year old friends who are sleeping with their boyfriends - to keep them.
No one admires a decently dressed woman, or a modest woman. No one wnats to date her. And of course, now that sex is so freely available, you have to do something else to attract a boy. And as men need the aproval of their mates so much, it makes sense to become one of them.
Of course, it is all a stereotype - we're not free, are we? Being rebellious these days is wearing modest clothing and refusing to have sex unless you're in a meaningful relationship.
As for the babies, this is the first training women get. It is the only career many kow. Unfortunately the reality is that kids are hard work. Men have walked away from their kids for years - why can't women?
It's all very sad. We don't place a value anymore on decent women. Unless we're religious, and if you're not, you've got no chance.

Actually both men and women have flaws. Yours is that you have not left that comfortable state to the real world.
You quote headlines, but how many women (especially those that are single parents} don't make the news.
News is exactly that. News to excite, new to entertain, and on rare occasions news to inform.
There are decent women everywhere, but your focus is else where, most likely the TV.
Do you go to church? Are there no decent women there? What about your wife, is she not decent?
Answer: If a sixteen ounce glass contains eight ounce fluid, is the glass half empty or half full? You seem to focus on the half empty. In truth, the glass is both half full and half empty. Try to find the both in your life.

I dont think the problem is "women" in general. The whole world has gotten weird. I dont understand why women would do this stuff to their children. Its beyond understanding to me. My mom and I were just talking about this lastnight. It never used to be that we was scared of people like we are now. It is sad that we cant trust anyone. As far as girls dressing like they do,... the parents shouldnt let them do it. They wonder why there are so many rapes. I hope the world changes soon. I worry about all the little ones. Whats it going to be like when they grow up?? Scary!!

We live in a "fallen" world, sad but true. Also, men have been doing tons of bad things too for a long time. Mean rape, molest, murder, and sell sex (via women) too. Looks like this world has many problems with both genders.

it all comes down to sin, in most cases, the women with post pardom depression , is a real disorder, but the family's and doctors, especially the doctors should be able to spot some of this, but the teachers, and the girls gone wild, is pure devil filled ,sin driven , filth and perversion

I agree with everything you said. But.......you have honed in on the bad things only about women.
There are decent human beings called women out there. For every 4 decent human beings, there is one that is bad.
You are talking about that one. There are 4 that one can love.
That's life. We do not live in a perfect world.
