what the problem is i connect to the net every thing works fine. after about 2 hrs nothing on net works. like explorer wen try going to page comes up can not connect server, or msn wont connect and blames key ports i have no firewall to cause this i have contacted by isp they have no idea , i have restalled every think help plz

First thing I would do is check the modem wan connection lite! If its not on, the problem is either in the modem or on your ISPs side of your connection! If the lights out and you are renting the modem, call them and tell them to get it fixed and dont charge you for internet until they do!

if you are totally stuck and are running XP you could try doing a system restore. Restore the PC back to a time when you were not experiencing any problems. (Alhough if you have done a full re-install this will not help) If the problems clear you know that it has been a configuration problem. You could also try running a spyware and virus scan as these can screw up internet settings.

You just have to keep trying to connect,the problem is coming from your ISP
