There's one left on the top of our unit. They're like triffids on acid.

Xmas decorations in hiding !! Every year when i pack mine away the same thing happens to me. Always at least one sly twinkling festive decoration is in hiding . I believe the same as you they don't like to be in the dark. lol.
This year though some of its friends decided to hide as well three days after packing everything away i found two dodgy looking characters in hiding.

The cat probably hid it there to play later. My cats do that all the time.
I can't blame the dogs, Lucky leaves them alone, and Reuben would have chewed it to pieces by now.

It's kinda the same with peas. you think you've eaten them all and then you cut into your steak/chicken/beef/slab o' meat and low and behold there's another pea under the damb thing. And some in the mash, and one stuck in with the brocilli.... the damb things are multiplying!

You're right about that...there's always GOT to be one.
But my mother always told me, "Where there's one, there's always another."
Round 'em up, WildCat, and have a great Christmas presentation next year! (smile)
Enjoy!
