I arrived in the USA during the Christmas holidays to visit some friends (who are American) and when I was asked by the immigration officer to provide details on my whereabouts in the USA, I told him at the Hilton Hotel, Dallas Tx. He then told me to sit down which was for 1 hour almost and told me to go to a room for additional questioning. I asked him why? and the he became very rude and irate cause I asked! Anyway, I proceeded to the room and then he said that I look like a terrorist and seem to be looking unusual in appearance cause I have a beard and wore a USA shirt.

I know this guy is not representing America and he obviously has some serious issues but my trip was to be a happy one with friends who i studied with and ended up with humiliation. I can understand the profiling and I have no problem with it but to be humiliated is something else! what should i do? i got his immigaration tage number and name.

It is unfortunate that the terrorists are all from the mid eastern countries, but that's the way it is. Get the movie 9/11 with Nicholas Cage and see what kind of terror the United States experienced. You just had an aggravating hour taken from your life not your entire life or life of your family or friends. It is sad that our country here in the USA will never be the same but that's the way it is. To sue will change nothing. It's a waste of every-ones time and haven't we wasted enough time of stupid things? Do what everyone else does when they travel in this country, give yourself extra time and expect to be delayed. It happens to everyone not just you.

Hate to say it....but deal with it. Americans are treated no differently than foreigners when traveling. People are so quick to want to sue over nothing.....I mean sorry you had to deal with a jerk off who was either having a bad day or has a case of robo-cop wanna be but what does suing do? Cost us all in the long run!

Think about it even if you lose the lawsuit....who pays the legal fee's that the Company.......hmmm we the consumer. It may not be a popular answer but quit whining about things we all deal with everyday......yes even jerk-offs.

Sorry about your experience and good luck to ya.

As there became no audio interior the tape its impossible to be attentive to what this lady might have suggested besides the undeniable fact that it might desire to have been a actual mouthful for the guards to have reacted so violently and all on the comparable time.some females, react violently in comparable circumstances as omit Cambell did at Heathrow and my wager is that she became pushing her success purely as she is by technique of attempting to get $10 million from that airport.

Get over it.

In another country you would have been detained indefinitely without explanation, courtesy, or counsel. Be thankful it happened in the USA.
You are a guest. Instead of of complaining and asking about lawsuits, you should be representing your country and heritage in a more positive way.
America has the right to protect her people and interests.

Since the majority of hijackers on 9/11 came from Saudi, anyone from Saudi will be suspect. Not saying it's right, just the way it is.

Aren't you glad it's the USA and not the Peoples Republic of China?
You might have been searched with a cattle prod.
You would have been trailed to your hotel, and your travels, phone conversations, and internet communications would be closely monitored. Even your friends would be suspect.

Have you ever noticed that people of Arabic descent or Islamic faith do not resort to violence in China in order to be noticed?
There is a reason for it.

What can we do it's a worldwide epidemic!
Everyone and everything looks suspicious!
Just like when a woman wears red lipstick
in your country(saudi), the motawa(religious authority)usually humiliates the woman and thinks of her as a prostitute even GOD knows well that the woman is pure but stylish and like wearing lipstick!

Security at airports have tightened everywhere....and there is very good reason. - I've seen babies being frisked, and once I saw an elderly gentleman (who could hardly walk) having to pull down his trousers infront of everyone, so he could remove all of the items from his pockets....it's terrible seeing this but unfortunately our world is no longer safe.

Ahhh! being judged by appearances, I'm Canadian and about 16yrs ago my husband and I decided to go to Las Vegas. When passing through immigration I was not asked to identify myself yet my husband had to prove his citizenship, when I asked "why did you not ask me for my papers" response was you have the look of an innocent person, low and behold I may have the look but do I have the heart?
Do not sue it'll bring you nowhere, they have the policies and they are trying to uphold them. I've heard horror stories of Canadians being kept overnight count yourself lucky.
