1. how much does it cost? The place I went it was $30 a session, or unlimited for $55 a month.

2. How long does it stay on, and does it come off when you shower or wash your face? On my skin, it stayed on for approx. 12-15 days. No, it did not wash off easily.

3. does it come off on ur clothes? not after the initial few minutes. If you wipe it off right (in an upward motion with a towel) then no, after that nothing on the clothes. I would recommend using the clear kind as oposed to the bronzed kind. You won't get the color for about 4-5 hours with the clear and it comes out more even and is less likely to get on your clothes.

4. how often should you get it done? I would say that really depends on how well your skin takes it, but I was doing it about once every 2.5 weeks.

Tip: Make sure you use the barrier cream on your hands, feet and I even put a light layer on my face (keeps it from looking fake, but still gives enough color). You don't want to come out looking like an orange.

I had a good experience with this type tanning. Hope this helps you out! =)

Self sun tanning is a good option for getting a tan easily and safely. There really is no shortage when it comes to variety and quality in the self tanning product line. If you don't want to do the sun bathing or salon UV bathing gig, then you don't have to. So regardless of the length of time you want to keep a tan, you can - and you should check out these excellent tips for evaluating a good self tanning product. Depending on the self sun tanning product or process you've used, it will take some time to dry. But, the good news is the drying time varies anywhere between a couple of minutes to several hours. You can easily find this kind of info right on the label for the product, but we suggest you do not base your decision to buy strictly based on drying time. There is so much difference in the products with drying time that you should never assume they are all the same. You should be aware of this so you don't do anything that might interfere with the process, such as getting wet before the product has worked completely. If you don't let it dry all the way, there is the chance your skin could turn out something truly funky and embarrassing. So, that is probably the most important consideration when it comes to application. Always try applications to a small part of your body for any product you've never used, previously. We suggest a small test because there are times when people learn they have a reaction to different products. Plus, you'll never know for sure how your skin will turn out until you actually use the product. So, as you can clearly undertand, it really is a good idea to run a little experimental test, first. Of course the best place to do this is somewhere that isn't easily noticed. Not to be alarmed though because this is just a precaution and usually not an issue, but it's a good idea to do it. But if you do the test, then you'll know for sure not only about possible irritation, but also to see how the tan looks on you. In order to ensure you get the nicest tan, and also side-step any problems, then we recommend a few guidelines. You may want to avoid products that contain alcohol, as some people are sensitive to this and it can cause irritations. You also may experience some irritation if you shave and then apply the sunless tanning solution. What has been discovered is that the application of a lotion or light oil to the skin prior to applying the tanning product can help your skin feel better. For added protection, use the clear plastic fits-all gloves when you apply the tanning solution. Use the kind of inexpensive, disposable gloves that people use for applying hair coloring. If you get a lot of tanning solution on your palms, then your palms will sport a nice tan; that's something that usually doesn't happen. There are many benefits to self sun tanning, not to mention it's safer and looks good. As for what will work best for you, the thing to do is try several and discover for yourself. Your skin is unique, so you have to find the product that gives you the kind of tan you want. These are solid tips that we hope will help you out as you search for your perfect tan, and we hope you find it!
