I can not say for other people because there might not even be a god. God was created because people could not answer the question why something happened. The thing is if you don't believe in god your hated by the community so you are forced to believe in god. HOW MEST UP IS THAT! Now for me i kind of believe in him because if you do you go to heaven and if you don't you go to hell but i have many doughts of his existence. In the bible it says if you believe in another god your going to go to hell so then everyone in all the other religions{who believe in a different god} are going to go to hell. THATS LIKE HALF OF THE WORLD!
If you do not want to get mixed up in all this crazy stuff i suggest you create your own god that you think is worthy enough for you to worship or declare yourself god.
I created QUACKOMOJANDO the great god duck who is the most powerful being in the universe.

I always tell people that they should sit in front of vase of real flowers and then ask that question. Then sit in front of some silk flowers and see the difference between the two. The real one feel alive and they are fragile. The silk ones feel lifeless and they probably will last forever.
So until we learn how to make all these living things we have to admit there is something beyond us, whether it is a male of female deity.
I think a lot of atheists were introduced to a religion that enforced the negative. Plus most religious radicals teach; their followers that to question their faith is to deny God and an agnostic becomes an atheist when all they want is answers to very important questions.
Find and follow the deity and religion that provides you with the most comfort and support. Believing in a higher power is always easier when you don't force that higher power to look like it is having to jump through hoops to be real.
I for one am Wiccan and I believe in my part I have to play to make the future happen without anyone destroying the planet just because they can.

I believe so. God is about faith, to be honest I don't think we have a choice about whether you believe in Him or not, my parents are both athiests but for some reason when I was little everytime I said "There is no God" I felt funny, and I'd look up just in case a lightening bolt suddenly struck me! And I found that if I prayed before I went to bed I slept better, and if I was upset thinking of Him made me feel ok again.

Yes of course God exists, and there are many reasons to believe in God,we see an ordered system in creation that only a higher intelligence could have made, and secretly don`t we all know that we have a yearning to see God.

Depends. God can be a different thing to a lot of people. That question is personal and by asking it you just wan our opinion. remember, a god can just be a high and stronger power. It is all what you believe.

The very fact that you are asking this question is that God does indeed exist, and you can get to know Him better, by reading the Scriptures.

If he does exist, we're never going to see him in our time on earth, so I remain agnostic. Live a decent, moral life, and find out if it was worth it when you die.

I think so, the universe is too organized to not have a creator behind it.
The conditions on Earth that allow life are too rare for them to be a coincidence.
