One of my New Year's resolutions is to spend more time doing the things that make me happy. I love decorating so I'm giving my room a makeover and I love reading too so I'll be doing more of that in my new room.

Clean sheets on my bed, a new good book, being clean out of the shower, a starbucks iced tea, a bit of chocolate - and I'm blissfully happy. Other happy things: going on a trip when it actually lives up to expectations. Getting a great deal on something. Getting something good for free. Getting an unexpected financial windfall. Having time to sit in the sun and read or walk on the beach and stare at the waves. When my son spontaneously says "I love you" and strokes my face. When everything goes smoothly (no matter what it is).

Music

A special Person; Someone outside of my genetic family who I love, preferably of another gender simply because it's most comfortable that way

A proper scene in nature, perhaps a sunset

A proper scenario of people and events, like a nice party with people I enjoy spending time with

Making someone else happy; Say solving a problem they were having a hard time with, or genuinely making them feel joy with some from of gift or act of kindness

Progressing in life; as though moving with my proper career aspirations and moving forward as a person, getting better, wiser, stronger, smarter, and more productive in the sense of my own happiness

A nice tasty and delicious meal; Especially when I'm hungry

A nice exercise; Biking or Running, Parkour or Soccer, Tennis and acrobatics, and a plethora of others

Dressing nicely

Noncorrupt flirting

The high life

A crackling log fire, sparkling frost, a heavy snow fall, big knickers and vests, childrens laughter, cooking for my friends and family, a beautiful sunset, sunrise, blue sky, seeing the mist hanging over Yeadon Tarn early in the morning, a lung full of fresh air, birds feeding in my garden, the first signs of spring, autumn leaves, a perfect English summer day, a big hug from someone I love and being gently woken up by my cat.

Walking in the countryside, being with friends in some shared activity, eating simple, good food. Meeting new people. Sex.

The last by the way, it isn't a flippant comment. Everyone on the whole likes sex, but it makes me happy too.

THINGS THAT YOU LOVE DOING AND SHARING WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY !
Do things that you enjoy== reading , music , cleaning and decorating ... if gardening is something you like then grow flowers and vegetables which do add to your pleasure when you see the results.
Sharing is one of the key factors to enjoy anything that you personally love and you get plenty of satisfaction out of it.
The simple pleasures of life are free .
Enjoy every minute of your life when you endeavour to do anything.
Best wishes.

Making other people happy works for me. Sometimes it only has to be something little i.e. remember their favourite food and suprising them with it works.

By having a quick clean-up can make me feel a lot happier as well.
