Sometimes they can, but not usually. Men are not as perseptive as we would like them to be. Have you ever changed your hair or got a new dress and he didn't notice? Like I said this doesn't go for all men, just some. If your feelings have changed why don't you talk to him to see if you can resolve what is bothering you. You will be surprised what a little honesty and communication could do for a relationship.

Not if she hides them and plays "guess what's in my head" and responds "everything's fine" when asked how she is and lies about how she feels, hoping to god he notices.
Why - frustrated that he's not picking up on all the invisible clues you are leaving all over the place?
Sit him down - tell him [a] my feelings have changed, [b] this is why, [c] i hid it from you, [d] i played a junior high game - guess what's in my head and got pissed you didn't know i was playing that juvenile game.
Then give *him* a chance to talk. That should be a first for you.

In a heart beat. Next time you see two people truly in love look at their eyes; it is almost as if the the eyes are smiling. It doesn't matter if they are 20 or 80, been together 30 minutes or 30 years.
