Dehydration is the key here - you have absorbed the alcohol into your system, and have done nothing to 'flush it out' try drinking wine - water - wine - water in your evening, you will wake up less thirsty, and probably have a slightly clearer head - Jesus, you must be well pi$$ed after two bottles anyway!!!

He he! I ask myself the same question after a night out drinking.
Well, alcohol seriously dehydrates your body I guess, the more you drink, the worse it gets. That also explains the headaches you get on the next morning. Best remedy, drink a lot of water before going to bed. Usually works for me. ; )

Its your bodies way of saying, hey you didn't drink enough so you had better have some more.
I would listen to my body, perhaps a bottle on Sunday would quench it.

Now, if your a new drunk in this world I can understand your question...if not you should know this already. Alcohol pulls water out of body....so you need to hydrate with water
