I believe we should all be responsible in terms of obligations to individuals, animals, and society and global concerns.
Equally, there are times when being responsible is not that important, like walking in a warm summer rain with no Macintosh or rubbers, or bumbershoot. Or staying up late reading, enjoying friends or something else of interest. Those acts of irresponsibilty are what keep us balanced, and are reasonably okay for they do not harm the rights of another living thing.

Generally speaking, if one can he will do it not because he feels it is a responsibility. This is because humans are basically kind to one another and that is why civilization of today is being developed. That makes us very different from the animal world. Or it is because all humans are generally brought up to show kindness to their fellow humans. Of course, there is exception but it is of very small minority. It happens because of lack of parental care or some would like to act rebellious to show their difference. But there are also teachings to make us self-center. And so, if we can we will withhold our ability because we don't want to be a loser or get involved. But I believe humans are basically kind to their fellow men if not, the weak would have been devoured out of sight.

I love your question!
Winston Churchill once said "Perhaps it is better to be irresponsible and right, than responsible and wrong" (At a party political broadcast, August 26th 1950)
Sometimes it is necessary to be irresponsible, in order to remain sane! If you are responsible all the time, I'm sure all sense of fun will leak out until there is nothing left until a hard worn out shell.
(In moderation!!)

Hmmm...tough question.
Well, we can't lead life without feeling a sense of responsibility. However, not everything in life demands us to take responsibility for. But if everyone decides not to be responsible of their own decisions and undertakings, then imagine how life will be. Things will be much much worse than they are presently.

responsibility only comes into effect if there's a benefit to you - materialistically or spiritually (this includes gaining a brownie point from helping others etc).
In this respect I'd say we're all, in the main, responsible people!

You know I have read thousands and thousands of questions on Yahoo answers.
But this one is probably one of the BEST I have ever seen. It leaves me speechless.
What you are describing is the eternal battle between good and evil, for want of better words, that goes on in the human mind.
Well done, whoever you are.

Yeah, like that movie United ninety 3. Or that movie international commerce middle. guy, get some new writers, Hollywood! some writers of route share your opinion: the Tom Clancy novel Sum of All Fears featured Muslim terrorists, yet at the same time as they tailored it to the demonstrate the Muslims were replaced to white supremacists or something (i did not see it).

Depends how you defend responsible. I always try to be circumspect but I don't want to lead my life being responsible for every good or bad thing that happens to myself or to others. Sometimes it is good just to 'be'.
