WEP stands for wireless encryption protocol. You must have set up a WEP key (password) to secure your wireless network at home to prevent unauthorised users. This is the password it is asking for. Think of some popular passwords you've used in the past and try entering these as you can have the WEP key stored in your laptop so wouldn't necessarily enter it every time.

WEP stands for Wired Equivalent Privacy, the network you are trying to connect to requires a WEP key, so you will need to ask the network administrator what the WEP key is, and enter it into your phone before the network will allow you access. See Sources for a wikipedia article on WEP.

Wep is an encryption mechanism used by wifi routers.
If you don't know the wep key of a wep encrypted wifi access point, then you can't connect to it.
WEP is 10 or 26 characters long.
If you manage a wifi router, you should know its wep key (except if you configured it to be nonencrypted which is not safe).

It is the protocol that ensures encryption between your phone and the P.C.
Your PC will have a key (A long string of letters and Numbers) which you will have to enter into your phone so to allow the connection.
