I've heard The Office (us version) is really funny. Arrested Development. Maybe rent Family Guy or Seinfeld...maybe the original Twilight Zone series. There was also a cool show called Beyond Belief: Fact Or Fiction (they showed you stories and you had to guess if it was fact or fiction).
