Does this mean that the large number of people in the world who enjoy being tickled are no-body's? If you go to Yahoo, Google, MySpace and a number of other websites and look for tickling groups, you will find that there are many of us who enjoy consensual tickling.

That said, Laughter is not a voluntary reaction just like crying and screaming in pain are not voluntary reactions when one suffers a major injury. It is just the signals that the brain sends in response to the stimuli necessitating the reaction.

By the way, I have had the pleasure of sharing my playful tickling encounters with a couple of ladies who previously HATED to be tickled because they had been tickle-tortured as a child. Not only did they enjoy my encounters but we had repeat encounters as well.

Tickling can be very fun and rewarding when there is respect, trust and a desire to keep it fun and safe for all parties involved.
