I would love an occupation that deals with babies in hospital environments. And what is the name of the type of nurse that takes care of the babies in the room where all the newborn babies are in one room and you can look at them from a window?

Well you are probably thinking of a midwife. She's the one that helps you to deliver and helps you learn how to look after your baby, there is probably a nursing role that supports a midwife but not sure what they are called. I have the same dream. Ever since I have had two babies, both ceseareans, and been present for two other births I have wanted to be a midwife, but my daughter fell ill when she was 3 weeks old and needed a midwife with her at all times, so I got to know one midwife very well, and she told me about her career in neo-natal nursing, and I knew I just had to do that job. Neo-natal care is caring for premmie babies, it is very hard, because it's a win some lose some occupation, but the things she told me, about the dedication and strength it takes and how rewarding that field is, I have wanted to do it ever since.

I say go ahead with it, we need more midwives, and I believe the government has made the courses in nursing cheaper due to our shortage in people taking up the career, I can think of nothing that could be more rewarding.
