I have a skin condition thats called tinea versicolor, it's nothing serious or gross.... it's just a tad discolouration of the skin, little circle ish lighter patches on the arm. maybe each one in diameter ia a bit bigger then a jiffy tip size. You can only tell if you get UP CLOSE to it... and you can't feel it or anything,and it's not contagious. would it gross you out ? mature people only please.

By mature people only, i meant.... Not some kids giving random stupid answers that they know is ridiculous. Like " omg you're gonna die!" ect... I've read it on others, and think it's stupid.....

Tinea is probably one of the most common skin problems around, if you don't scratch it, keep the area clean and use a anti fungal cream it should go away. it is not at all gross, unless you scratch it until it bleeds. I have discoloured skin on my ankle from it, but this is slowly going away

I have really bad eczema and I get blisters on my skin and they itch SO bad sometimes I scratch till it bleeds. It is also not contagious and is hereditary and there is no cure for it. Do you think that is gross. You seem to be luckier than me cause when my eczema acts up I will also get bumps all over my face and won't want to leave the house. But then again both of us shouldn't be worried at least we don't have Michael Jackson's skin problems.

Not at all. You have to realize that there are other skin conditions and diseases out there that are far worse and you should be happy that it's not affecting you greatly(not that I know of) and I hope it's not harmfull or anything.Also, I think it makes you unique.
My dog, has a skin condition as well....SKIN CANCER. causing him to have various tiny bumps on his skin. But they aren't going to do anything about it until one of them turns a dark brown color or one of them starts getting bigger then a pinky nail. But you can hardly tell unless you pet him and find it on accident. But he is perfectly healthy and I doubt he even knows he has this skin disease. But anyways, that was just trying to show you that your not alone and stay strong! ok?

That's certainly nothing to be grossed out about. Many people have visibile birthmarks and scars, no one has perfect skin and people should never look down on someone for that.

No..that would not gross me out!!! Plus, that is a part of you and anyone that cares for you will overlook it or like it because "it is a part of you". Bad breath really grosses me out...not the color or patches of one's skin!!!

hey i have a dark rough spot on my right thigh and some girls have gotten to like it. so its not so bad unless you had a big patch on your face or a birthmark right under your nose that makes you look like hitler. that was on a girl i was with in high school. by graduation she had it removed. just be glad its not as bad and if it is ruining your life just go get it removed

no i dont think it would gross me out. like u said unless ur really close to it, u cant notice it. so i dont think ppl just sitting round u r goin to notice it. but if any one did wonder wt it was or seamed a bit stand-off-ish, just explain to them wat it is just like u have to us here. im sure they will be ok wit it. i dont think its anything big u need to worry about. i dont think there is anything gross about it. u should try and have more confidence in ur self and dont worry about it.

no it wouldnt gross me out, it matters what is inside not outside, i never judge people by what they look like.
