No, but you would buy a present back to say thank-you. Depending on the size of winning, but if you won the jackpot I would be upset at getting just a lottery ticket back as a present.

I would give him / her the percentage he wants... (btw I never win a thing, so if someone bought a ticket for me and I won, I would know it wasn't my luck at all, so of course I'd feel obliged to give him / her what he asks)

If someone gave you food as a gift, would you feel obligated to share it with them? Same principal. A gift is a gift is a gift. Share only if you wish, not out of a feeling of obligation.

They have but I didn't win .....
if it was a large amount then perhaps 10% .... otherwise I'd give them the money back with which they brought the ticket.
