Is there a site on gaming which will send newsletters to me on gaming competitions taking place in my area?

I am looking for sites that will send me newletters giving info of various gaming competitions taking place near my area!

Two options: Go to the website of individual games and sign up for updates. That'll give you all events everywhere.

Or, go to your local game store and ask around there. The people there will know.

the one site i would look at is www.gamespot.com. you should register for the limited membership there so that you would recieve newsletters on competitions and new games on the market.
