Egyptian Geometry - It has been suggested that the placing of certain significant Egyptian temple complexes such as Karnak and Giza were based on a knowledge of geometry and the concept of a spherical world.

They also used some really clever geometry to help them to build the pyramids accurately:
Pyramids are great structures with four triangular sides that end in a point at the top. Over 100 were built by the Ancient Egyptians for their pharoahs and 80 still remain standing. These huge buildings acted as tombs for the dead Egyptian pharoahs and were built between 2630 BC and 1530 BC. They were made out of stone blocks that weighed up to two tons that are fit so close together that you wouldn't be able to fit a razor blade between them. To built these the Egyptians would have to have been experts in astrology, geometry, and architecture. The amazing thing is that no one knows exactly how they were built without modern machinary. Some people think that the blocks were pushed up mud slickend ramps that grew as the pyramid did.

Think "Pyramids". I am sure that other people will have a much more detailed knowledge of the subject but given that the ancient Egyptians are not necessarily renowned as mathematicians they managed to build, without levels or tools which are today recognised as essential, some of the most precise structures (geometrically) on the planet at a time when most Europeans were just about building mud huts.
From the air the pyramids are laid out to as close as possible the shape of the constellation of Orion including his belt and sword and all to an amazing tolerance.
Passages inside the pyramids are laid out so that the rising sun or moon is visible inside the burial chamber at certain times of the year - If I go on I will just show my ignorance so I will leave it at that and suffice to say that they really are marvels of the world both visually and mathematically.

Seven (7) is known as the golden number in life and geometry used long ago. It is the basis of circles and other geometric forms.
The fact the stars come into it is not surprising because this is how they plot space etc.
Certainly it is not the only common number but it is the most used.
Our bodies change each seven years when after three such changes we are deemed to be an adult.

you must to calculate the distance between to point. you cannot build before calculating the pressure beared in a point. or the length of wall.
