If you need 10 hrs of sleep, then go to bed early in order to get it. Then you will wake up by yourself, when you have has enough sleep. The other thing is to leave your window shades up, in order for the daylight to wake you.

do what Mr. Bean does,an elaborate alarm clock using hot water dropping on your toes or Spongebob BC where spongebob used a rock to fall on his head hehehe, watching too many cartoons with my kids...but seriously, who hasn't had a hard time waking up in the morning, this is the hardest thing to do.to start a new day, just like what the other persn said ask someone to wake you,but don't blame the person if she/he wasn't able to wake you up,if you believe in guardian angels (which I do) talk to your guardian angel before sleeping to wake you up,I do this whenever I have to wake up very early and afraid that I won't wake with my alarm and it never fails,I even able to wake up before the alarm...try it

Pay some really big older kid to come by randomly a couple of times a month at a certain time that you should be up----and if you're not--- he beats the snot out of you !!
A couple of times of getting the whey kicked out of you---and when the alarm goes off you'll be half-way ready for school before you've even realized your awake !!!

My father always said he used the "Indian" method of waking early, which was drinking several glasses of water immediately before going to bed, which had the desired effect . Obviously, one would have to get out of bed earlier. Sometimes the oldest methods work the best.

You need the ten hours. Let your poor body have it's ten hours.

For all the things that your body does for you in all of your waking hours!! Can you simply accept that you need what you need.

I've always needed more sleep than what others say they need. But I am always alert and healthy and happy and I don't see that people who sleep less are so keen.

Just do it man!!

Teenagers' biorhythms tend to work that way, it's a proven fact. Their body temperatures drop later in the evening, which means they are ready to go to bed later, and they all tend to sleep late when they can. Or at least, those I know. I'm a mother, I know!
