someone that is disabled who wants to marry a noncitizen who is not disabled?

Since Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a form of welfare, the government will look into the total household assets and income to see if the disabled person qualifies.

If the noncitizen spouse is in this country illegally, that might affect the SSI.
