Here is my situation: I'm married to a young lady for now over two years. We are separated and I don't want to get back together anymore. She's has some issues mainly a Drama Queen. I'm laid back, but I handle business when it comes to the home and our children. I am thinking about filing for a divorce. Right now, she won't allow me to see the children. The main reason why I'm divorcing her is that she's not happy with me and I'm not happy with her. I think we both have been holding on for the kids. At least I have. I wanted them to come up in a home where they could see and feel the importance of family. My wife is not allowing that. I just want to divorce and get joint custody of my children. I miss them so much and pray everyday that I will see them again soon. I'm a good father and provider. I will spend or do anything for them. It's not about the money. I just want to be in their life as a father, leader, and friend. They are my best investment I have ever made.

You should file right away and get a hearing ASAP for custody. She cant stop you from seeing them...((((HUGS))))) for being a good dad and wanting to spend time with the kiddos, they will grow up much happier knowing dad will always be there....

You need to see an attorney right away that specializes in fathers rights. By law you could take the kids and she wouldn't be able to do anything because until there is no parenting plan, you both have custody..

Don't mess with arguing with her, she is being a snot.. Your attorney can get a temp parenting plan set up right away and then work on joint custody.. Just stay calm and do not let her pull you into her world of drama!

The best investment you ever made? Children are not an investment. I think if you truly want to do what's best for your kids then you should do what's in your heart and seek joint custody. Be the bigger person and don't give into her drama and put your kids well being above anything else.

If your state has legal separation, obtain one. You may be issued child support but at least you get to see your kids. If she does not comply with the court order, that's on her, not you. If you decide to file for divorce, make sure you ask for visition/custody rights. Again, if she does not comply she can explain herself to a judge.
She needs to stop using the kids as a pawn against you.

Shame on her!!

Kudos to you for being man enough to know when to end things. Some people hold on for years and the kids look back and ask why they stayed together and made the family miserable.

Talk to your attorney
Good luck

While you are waiting to decide to divorce, you should go to court for visitation rights and your right to pay child support for these girls that you love so dearly. What are you waiting on ?

You have rights. You need to contact an attorney about visitation.

She has no right to deny you visitation.
