Remember PNAC and AIPAC are balancing government to their side. Is this Administration working to benefit Israel, or the American people?

Do you think the creation of the North American Union by Bush behind your back is what a Democracy would do?

No. While I do not agree with any of the actions of this President, nor did I agree with any of the acts of the last Congress, I still have faith in this country's government. I know that elections are every two years, with a Presidential election every four, and that is the #1 power that the citizens of this country have.
If we don't like it, we can change it. So sooner or later, I will agree with my government. Even when I don't agree with it, I still have faith in it, because if we don't have faith, we give up, which leads to less voter turnout numbers, which leads to many more years of the same disagreements.
So remember to vote, and always have faith in the government SYSTEM, because you CAN change it.

I don't think the will of the people has ever really mattered. The gov't would like us to believe it is a Democracy where every person's vote counts on every topic. But it only counts when selecting between choices offered by those who can afford to finance nominations or petitions.
In actual practice, this is an aristocracy. It is dressed up and dances around with all kinds of mind games trying to get you to believe you have a choice. The reality is that you only have a choice between options that are acceptable to the wealthy.
So I guess that's a "Yes".

you have WAY oversimplified a complex situation. We have a voice but so do others. the beautiful thing about a democracy is the people who get invovled generally win as part of the majority. Even though I feel I havent lost my voice in Government i DEFINTELY dont approve of things now. I think that Nancy Pelosi is a power hungry pompous xxx who got to power claiming solutions for Iraq that were quickly abandoned in the first hundred hours fiasco. Thats what I meant by complicated. There are many voices in government and ours was set up that way so we would work things out as a community. One can only hope that the liberals will ultimately understand the gravity of this situation and treat it differently than Clinton did by doing nothing. If not, god help us all.

I have to believe we have a voice or I would have no hope.
I really think the power of the inter net is giving us a voice back. I think the recent elections showed this.

I think the big change during the recent election says that we do still have a voice. I also beleive though, that Americans have become fairly complacent and dont bother to use their political influence. I woul dbet that 99% of Americans have never contacted their congressperson regarding an issue that they ***** about on a daily basis.

yes,i think we almost lost our voice in government. We have a rep. president. We had a rep. house and rep. senate and rep. supreme court. Threfore eliminating checks and balances. As result the president did whatever he wanted, even without asking at times! If we lwarned anything,we should have learned to vote conscience and not party!

Not to the Socialist party, oops, I mean Democrats. That is what they try to fool the people by calling themselves. Josesh Stalin would have been proud of them, though.

My answer is not a mere yes, my answer is YES!!!!!!
The paranoid Do Nothing Congress (THANK GOD THEY ARE GONE) have already used their anti-habeas corpus laws to hold one woman indefinitely without any immediate court case.
(The Habeas Corpus is in the constitution).
Remember the female lawyer accused of giving aid to terrorists?
How is that the American way?

We still a voice...or the potential to have a voice. Trouble is, we don't talk very loud. Get us good and angry about something and we can scream.
