My legs are cold and I don't want to wear long-johns because when I wear them I feel too hot and they're very uncomfortable. I'd like to wear pantyhose / tights under pants but I don't know how to tell my parents about it. Any ideas?

I suppose it may seem strange to you but I haven't worn jacket for almost ten years even though it was about 0F sometimes.
Even if I didn't tell them that I'd like to wear pantyhose they would probably find out anyway if I washed them.

Just tell them they are more comfortable and you prefer them because they are less bulky and more comfortable.

why would you need to tell your parents that? Does your mom ask you whether she should wear a girdle or control top pantyhose? Does you dad model his briefs and boxers and ask which you think look best on him?
I'm assuming you're under 18 and/or still living with your parents but if you're of the age where you dress yourself, then you don't need to discuss it with anyone. As far as fetishes go, yours is pretty tame.

Just go buy some, either online or at a locla store. And if they say anything just let them know aobut the guys who wear them skiing, and the profesional football players.

if you don't want to tell them be carefull how you wash your pantyhose/tights
- do it when you know they'll be out for a long time
i agree tights are brilliant for keeping you warm under your trousers when its cold
if you tell them, do it jently but not like a homo

Yes, tell them reason, and like someone said, cut them off at the ankles. But don't tell them you like them in reds, pinks, blacks, purples . . . let them think you just like the neutral colors
