Who is the one rock band had so much influence on rock music if that they never existed, rock music wouldn't be as good as it is.

elvis presley. in his time what he did was absolutely shocking. he's basically the pioneer of mainstream rock music.
for me personally, and the kinds of music i listen to, the sex pistols are pretty high on the list.
