hello,

i know that visual studio academic and commercial versions are the same, the difference is all about the license, but the question is how to tell if the version you are buying is academic or commercial, is there something written on the box to let people buying it knows if it is commerial or academic?

thanks

There's usually a banner or insignia on the box that says Academic Version.

Limiting use of programs in inherently wrong. Just don't use visual studio. Bloodshed software is the only known C++ IDE for windows thats out there. I use an IDE called Kdevelop, but that uses the KDE libraries and is not for windows. Although, I hear they are developing KDE for windows, so that may change soon.
